Profile
He was born in Apple City, Malang in 1976. He has a great interest and attention in the study of religions. For him, the study of religions is not merely a study of scriptures, rituals, symbols, social structures, moral teachings, dogmas and others, but deeper than that, the study of the meaning of life and of the belief in salvation that involves a balance of relations between the Divine, humans, and nature. This meaning and belief are always neatly stored in the hearts of every believer. Therefore, in developing theories, perspectives, frameworks, and methods of studying religions, to obtain a holistic depiction of religious experience, he is inspired by the thoughts of various figures such as Edmund Husserl, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Rudolf Otto, Bronislaw Malinowski, Mircea Eliade, Clifford Geertz, Ninian Smart and others. In each of his studies, he critically analyzes the relationship between religious experience and aspects of human life. He frequently partakes actively in various international and national academic discussions on the actualization and contextualization of religion in daily life.
