Alumni

The Alumni Association of the Faculty of Philosophy, Parahyangan Catholic University (IKA Filsafat UNPAR) is an official body that unites graduates of the Faculty of Philosophy, UNPAR, from various batches. This organization is formed as a means of fellowship, communication, and collaboration among alumni, as well as a form of dedication to the alma mater, the Church, and society.

Motto: Fraternitas (Building true brotherhood in the spirit of love, togetherness, and responsibility).

Vision: To become a solid, inclusive, and inspirational alumni community in living out the values of philosophy, humanity, and Catholicism for the development of the Church and society, holding onto the principles of Verum, Bonum, Pulcrum towards Sanctum.

Mission:

  1. Strengthening brotherhood and networking among alumni across generations.
  2. Supporting academic, spiritual, and social development of the Faculty of Philosophy, UNPAR.
  3. Encouraging alumni involvement in Church ministry and social community service.
  4. Being a space for reflection and critical dialogue based on philosophical and faith values.

Core Values:

  1. Brotherhood – maintaining spiritual bonds among alumni and academic community.
  2. Reflection – living out the philosophical spirit to understand and respond to the times.
  3. Dedication – making real contributions to the Church, nation, and society.

Objectives:

  • Maintaining close relationships between alumni, faculty, and university.
  • Facilitating career development, ministry, and social contributions of alumni.
  • Presenting the real role of alumni in strengthening the identity of UNPAR’s Philosophy as a center for intellectual and humanitarian reflection.
  • Strengthening brotherhood among alumni across generations.
  • Encouraging collaboration in academic, social, and pastoral fields.
  • Playing an active role in community service in line with a critical, reflective, and humanistic philosophical spirit, in the places where alumni work.

Main Activities:

  • Reunions and alumni gatherings across generations.
  • Seminars, discussions, and webinars on philosophy and humanity.
  • Support for academic programs of the Faculty of Philosophy, UNPAR
