Profile
A composer, conductor, multi-instrumentalist, and a luthier from Bandung. He received several national awards for his compositions: Yazeed Djamin Award (2006) and “50 Tahun Avip Priatna” orchestral composition (2015). His collaboration with visual artist Andy Dewantoro was nominated for Indonesian Art Award (2010). He is the creator of the sound installation in the tunnel that connects the Istiqlal Mosque and Jakarta Cathedral. Together with the group Behind the Actors, he was the Artist in Residence in TongTong Fair, Den Haag (2011).
As a conductor, he is a champion of Indonesian contemporary orchestral music, as demonstrated in several programs that he lead: Dvipantara with Laurentius Symphony Orchestra, Emas Sangge-Sangge with Orkestra Svaramartua, dan Ramewa with Orkes Simfoni Bumi Siliwangi.
He is one of the Co-Founder of the Bandung Philharmonic Orchestra, the music director of the Laurentius Symphony Orchestra up to 2023, and followed by the Parchestra. At this moment, he is a lecturer for the Integrated Arts program in UNPAR and Allegria Music School, as well as the music director for the Aniwayang Animation Studio, producing the animation series “Desa Timun”.
