Profile
Born in Yogyakarta in 1971, graduated from De Britto College, he studied at Mertoyudan Minor Seminary, and joined the Canons Regular of the Order of the Holy Cross (Ordo Sanctae Crucis) in 1991. Bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Philosophy, Parahyangan Catholic University. Sacrae Theologiae Licentiatus at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, promotor Prof. Lieven Boeve, with thesis on theology of images and metaphors. Doctoral degree at Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen, the Netherlands, promotor Prof. Toine van den Hoogen, with dissertation: Keluarga Gerejani: A Catechetical Exploration of Church-Images among Catholics in Java (Maastricht: Shaker Publishing, 2013). Since 2002 he taught at the Faculty of Philosophy, Parahyangan Catholic University. Published books: Image and Imagination: A Postmodern Philosophical Study (Kanisius, 2001) and Homilies for Sundays and Solemnities Vol. I & II (Kanisius, 2022). His expertise covers the area of fundamental theology, philosophy of science, dogmatic theology, phenomenology, systematic theology, and epistemology.
