Profile
Born in Bandung, January 4th, 1963, I applied for a membership of Ordo Sanctae Crucis (the Holy Cross) in 1981; solemnly professed in January 1987; as catholic priest ordained in December 1989.
My interest is for the History of the Church, but “fate” made me take theology as the subject matter of study at Bonn University. But I didn’t take my interest aside because I wrote the dissertation in the field of the History of the Church (Historische Theologie, German), but also did comprehensive examinations in other fields of theology.
Therefore, in teaching Dogmatic, I don’t forget my interest, even make it as one of methods to understand or comprehend the development of Dogma and doctrines, especially in Christology.
Besides, my pastoral years as a candidate of Priest (including two models of pastoral, namely parochial and categorial) give me a motivation to correlate theology with pastoral life and spirituality.
