Profile
Topik Mulyana, S.S., M.Hum. was born in Bandung, June 8, 1977. He has been involved in the world of language and literature since 1997. Since 2008, he has been an assistant lecturer at his alma mater and a part-time lecturer at STT Tekstil Bandung. Furthermore, he also taught at Telkom University, Sangga Buana YPKP University, Al Islam Health Polytechnic, and Bandung State Polytechnic. Besides Bandung, he has taught in Garut, Jakarta, Tangerang, and Banjarmasin. Since 2019, Unpar has officially become his new homebase until now. In addition to teaching, he is active in the Pancasila Study Center and the Nitiganda Sundanology Study Center, Unpar. Moreover on campus, he is active in the Lingkar Pena Forum (FLP), the Association of Indonesian Literature Scholars (HISKI), and the Padepokan Bumi Ageung Saketi. In addition to being a lecturer, he is also a freelance editor. His latest edited works are Badujs en Moslims: Ethnographic Study of Indigenous Communities in Lebak Parahiang, South Banten by N.J.C. Geise (Kompas Book Publisher, 2022) and Tapak Tilas: Collection of Dalang Short Stories (Dalang, 2022).
