Profile
Willfridus Demetrius Siga, fondly known as Bang Willy, has been a lecturer at Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) since 2014. He holds a Master’s degree in Educational Management from Jakarta State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the Faculty of Philosophy, Parahyangan Catholic University. He is actively involved in research, community service, public lectures, and academic publications. His works include contributions to book chapters such as Menafsir Ulang Solidaritas Pasca Pandemi dalam buku Menjaga Harmoni Toleransi di Tengah Pandemi Covid-19 (2020), Bunga Rampai: Desa Juara (2023), and the author of Perbandingan Isu-Isu Kritis Pengendalian Mutu Pendidikan (2024). He has also published several popular scientific articles and holds multiple intellectual property rights (IPRs). As a member of the Centre for Philosophy, Culture, and Religious Studies (CPCReS) at UNPAR, his research interests lie in education and the humanities. He serves as an Academic and Field Advisor for the PTGRMD Program under LLDIKTI IV (2022–2024), Coordinator for Education, Research, and Community Service at UNPAR (2021–present), and the Person in Charge (PIC) for the Program Desa Sejahtera Astra (2019–2025). His community engagement is primarily focused on empowering rural communities. His dedication to the Tridharma of Higher Education has earned him several awards in research and community service. Since 2023, he has been pursuing a Doctoral degree in Educational Management at Universitas Negeri Jakarta.
